Stain preparation
After stamping, remove any dust of linton surface from the stamped area. Apply stains using soft clean cloth or thick brush. Wipe in the direction of the woodgrain, while blending light and dark areas to obtain uniform color. For the water-based stains, allow 10 to 15 minutes of drying time before applying the 2nd coat. For the oil-based stains, allow 1 hour prior to applying the 2nd coat.
Dry time may need to be extended due to high humidity, low temperature area or inadequate air ventilation.
